Can you believe January is almost over?
Seems like some days linger longer than I want and others just fly by like a jet. Either way, how are you taking advantage of this time you have? Or do the days feel like Groundhog Day and is just a repeat of the day before?
If you’re feeling a little uninspired, you are not alone. It’s very easy to become complacent, to just do “what we’ve always done” and get into a routine. A routine is great, but sometimes we can get so involved to sticking to one that we get stuck.
What are some ways to create new inspiration if you are feeling a little blah?
~Listen to music with uplifting beats AND words. Dance a little, get your body moving, and remember some good times in your life.
~Read an inspiring book (about something you want to learn or someone you want to learn from). Get some ideas of what others are doing and try something new.
~Listen to an inspirational podcast or video. Watch a movie based on real life challenges.
~Visit an art or history museum.
~Get curious about the people around you. Make time to have a conversation with someone you love and ask them questions about their life.
Or share with me, what inspires you?
What interests you?
What have you always wanted to try, but “didn’t have time” (or whatever the reason)? Do it today—or schedule a time to do it soon!
As always, however you are feeling today, I want you to know that you are never alone. I encourage you to reach out—if not to me, then to someone! Give me a call or text at 951.523.7959, respond to this email Teresa@restorationshoppe.com.
I promise you, I may not always know what to say or do, but I can be a huge heart with ears.
I believe in you,
Teresa
