Goodbye 3rd Grade, Hello Summer!

And just like that, another school year in the history books!

I don't know about you but the older I get it seems the faster time goes.

Looking back at this last year, what are some if the best times you’ve had?

Who was with you?

What do you want to take with you moving forward?

What things would you like to leave behind?

As one season ends, another one begins. With a new season, we also have the opportunity to reflect on the things we wish were different, better, or more.

What do you wish was different right now?

How can you make things better?

What do you want more of? (I want more fun!)

I encourage you to spend some time to dig a little deeper and listen to your wants and needs. What you may really discover are the desires of your heart - for your life, your relationships, health, faith, or career!

As a side note:

At this time of year, I hear a lot of parents say, “Where has the time gone?” as we watch our “babies” grow up.

You may be experiencing your kids:

A sadness of your children getting older

Graduating or promoting to a higher grade

Moving out

Staying nearby, but getting a job or attending college

Some of you may be facing “empty nesting” or maybe you have child who has died who would have hit a certain milestone this year

All these can be grieving experiences. Whatever you are experiencing right now, please know that I’m with you.

As always, however you are feeling today, I want you to know that you are never alone. I encourage you to reach out—if not to me, then to someone!

I believe in you,

Teresa

P.S. If you know someone who may benefit from this information, please do not hesitate to forward this information. Thank you!
