We were eating dinner with some friends last night and my girlfriend told me, "I really like your posts lately. I want to try the 21 day program, but I want to start next month."
I said, "Thank you...and did you see my post about starting today?
"Yeah," she said, "but I want to make sure I know what I'm doing before I do it."
Does this conversation sound familiar to you? I have plenty of conversations with people who want to "wait" or "do it later":
"I want to wait until I know what I'm doing"
"I want to wait until I get it right"
"I want to wait until everything is perfect…"

I have some bad news for you (I'm sure it can be taken as good news, too!)--THE only perfect time is NOW. Today, right now, this minute, this second…so what's the resistance?
When looking for resistance, you can ask yourself, "What's stopping me?" or “How does this make me feel?” You may come up with many different reasons.
I don't have enough:
Time
Knowledge
Money
Willpower
Support

What is it that you tell yourself?
Resistance can come in different forms, like fear.
Fear of:
Failure
Loss
Judgment (self or others)
Rejection
And lots of other emotions
By taking a little time to ask and think about it - maybe have a conversation with someone about it - you can uncover the resistance…and begin taking small (or BIG) steps to removing those things that you once thought were stopping you.
By the way, the book The War of Art by Steven Pressfield is a great resource as well!!
